Landscapes
With many journeys both in Australia and overseas, I have had the opportunity to experience a vast array of landscapes. Most of my landscapes are made from memories, not specific places, or are abstract landscapes, although I have done one or two of specific spots.
Flowers
Always inspired by my beautiful garden and the gardens and parks in my home state I have a large collection of painted flowers. No matter what paper or paint I decide to use on the day a flower is usually created along the way!
Dance
Dance has always been part of my life, starting classical ballet at 4 years old, ballroom, latin and new vogue as well as contemporary dance, I was happier dancing or photographing dancers than painting dancers. This year I have been inspired to paint dancers - all in watercolour - I have painted 6 so far.
Abstract
I have a growing collection of abstracts both in acrylic, watercolour ink and watercolour.

Not my strong point but sometimes animals appear!

After COVID and the passing of my beautiful Mum, I found myself drawn back to the things that fed my creative soul. Painting, photography and gardening! With years of experience in the portrait photography industry with my husband, it seemed natural to still wander around with a camera in my hand, my garden was full of flowers and soon I was painting those flowers. My three passions became one and here I am!
I love to paint using watercolour, watercolour ink, acrylic, alcohol ink, and mixed media. Flowers, abstract landscapes, and more recently, dancers, have been part of my collections.
My return to painting has taken a more serious role in my life over the last 12 to 18 months. I took part in the 2024 Incognito Art Show and loved the chance to paint for such a great cause. I have registered for this years Incognito Art Show also and look forward to painting for charity. I also hope to take part in more art exhibitions and shows in the future.
